An early pair of Hooded Mergansers showed up early, and in an unusual spot, Cressy, in Prince Edward County. A White-winged Scoter, common in the County but rare at this location, was also spotted nearby.
DIRECTIONS: From Picton, take County Road 8 to Cressy Lakeside Road. The ducks are on Lake Ontario, close to the point where Cressy Lakeside becomes a private road. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
