Late this evening my dad and I had 3 Ross's Geese in a corn field along the north shore of Rondeau Bay.
Also present were thousands of Tundra Swans, mostly out on the bay. 7500 for the day! Jim Burk Blenheim, On. Directions: Exit 401 on Kent rd. 15. Head south towards Rondeau and turn right on New Scotland line (first road past highway 3). The geese were seen just past where a new house is being built between Mull Rd. and Shrewsbury. Usually best late in the day. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
