Tim McCarthy and I saw a Great Egret flying nne over the south end of Hall's around 4:00 pm this afternoon. Cranberry Marsh as of late this afternoon still had no open stream of water running through it, but some large pools of water on the surface, most prominently at the south end with only few hundred ducks (Mallards, American Black Ducks and Green-winged Teal) and few pairs of Canada Geese on the ice.

Directions: take the Brock Street (NOT BROCK ROAD!) exit off the #401 and drive south a short distance to Victoria Street West. Go west to Lynde creek and just past the parking lot for Lynde Shores Conservation area turn south on to Hall's Road.
