The number of ducks and geese are rapidly increasing on the Mississippi River
this week.
At the boat launch you can see; Canada Geese, Bufflehead, Hooded Merganser,
Ring-necked Duck, Mallard, Pintail, and Goldeneye.
Take Hwy 417 west to Hwy 7 and west to CP. Go north on the main street
(Franktown Rd) to Lake Ave. Turn left onto Lake and go all the way to the end
of the pavement where the launch is. The ducks are spread up and down the
river.
