There were Rusties today at the south end of Strongville Road, feeding in the
tree line @ waters edge in the adjacent field from where the Tundra Swans are
being viewed. The Nottawasaga River is at record levels this year, and
waterfowl levels are as well for this area. Sandhill Cranes were only heard
today from the surrounding area, not seen.
Other good viewing areas around Minesing wetlands north are at the intersection
of Ronald Road/Glengarry landing Road South (500 Ring-necked ducks, Redhead,
Osprey, etc), at the end of both Mcnabb Rd and Richardson Rd (Common Loon on
Wednesday).

Directions for Strongville Road:

>From # 10 north of Brentwood, head east on either Concession 7 or 9 Sunnidale
>and keep heading east.
>From Hwy 26 head south on Strongville Road

Ronald Rd is accessible from west side of George Johnson Rd in Minesing;
Glengarry Landing Rd S, Mcnabb Rd & Richardson Rd are all accessible from the
south side of Highway 26

Good birding.
