Hello,

On Saturday, April 19 at 4 in the afternoon I spotted an Eastern Towhee male
rummaging noisily among dead leaves for three hours. Two White-Throated
Sparrows (white-stripped form) were also present.
Birding at Eglinton Flats since 1999, this is my first sighting of an Eastern
Towhee.

Directions: Eglinton flats is located on the south east corner of Eglinton Ave.
and Jane St.
The bird was seen in the bushes on the south east corner of the tennis court’s
fence.

Good birding,
Jacek Pawlikowski
