Posting for Bill Lindley, who found a Bell’s Vireo this afternoon on Stoney Creek Trail in London. The bird was observed for about 90 minutes on the east side of the creek by several observers, before it disappeared on the west side of the creek. There were many migrants in the area and the bird could still be around.
Directions: From Adelaide Street north go west on Windermere Road. Stoney Creek Trail starts from the north side of Windermere, about halfway to the first traffic light. The vireo was observed on both sides of the trail between about 100 feet and 200 feet north on the trail, if you reach the second bridge you have gone too far.
