This morning at about 7:45 while I was scoping the lake at the Bronte lighthouse I hear Fish Crow sounds and saw two crows in a tree on Ontario street. I hesitate to say that the crows were small but let's say they did not look large. Unfortunately they did not stick around and flew inland almost as soon as soon as I started moving towards them.
There was a Red-throated Loon between the Bronte pier and the Suncor pier to the west. This may well have been the same bird that was reported west of the Suncor pier and that I dipped on yesterday evening. Eight Common Loons were present as well as lots of Red-necked Grebes, a few Horned Grebes and still many ducks. Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Road (Oakville), drive south to the lake. Bronte Road ends at Ontario Street.
