I birded Prospect Cemetery this evening from 7:30 to 8:30pm and found a Canada Warbler among 11 total species of warbler:
Canada Bay-breasted Blackburnian Black-throated Blue Black-and-white Palm Ovenbird Magnolia Nashville Chestnut-sided Yellow-rumped Also had an Indigo Bunting. ebird checklist: http://ebird.org/ebird/canada/view/checklist?subID=S18364444 All of these birds were seen 200m south of Kitchener Ave. where there is a relatively steep hill covered thick bushes with yellow flowers. Please note that the cemetery closes at 8pm (I was locked in and had to hop the fence to get out). Prospect Cemetery runs north from St. Clair Ave. to Eglinton Ave. just east of Caledonia Rd. in Toronto. Good birding, Iain _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
