Ontbirders,

I had a calling Dickcissel fly-over the Beachville Lime Ponds this morning,
heading east, only the 2nd spring record for the county. The birding in and
around the ponds was excellent, as it has been for several days now, with
several hundred migrants [mostly warblers] found along the river trail. Most of
what was seen is typical mid to later May stuff - lots of Tennessee's,
Bay-breasted, Wilson's, Philadelphia Vireo's etc., although 5 Northern Parula's
was a lot for this site.

To reach the Lime Pond trails - from Ingersoll Road, take Domtar Road 150 m
north, over the river, then turn right to the parking area. The trail gate is
directly east and clearly visible.

Cheers,
