This afternoon, at around 12:30, I saw and heard an ACADIAN FLYCATCHER at Ashbridge's Bay Park in Toronto, near the area where the chat was seen, in the extreme southwest corner. Found in the bushes on the north side of this prong of land, loosely associating with another empid that I never got a good look at (but had both in my field of vision at one point).
Ashbridge's Bay is at the foot of Coxwell Avenue. Access the trail from the parking lot at the western end of the park, and follow the shoreline around to the south and west. Pay parking may be starting up this weekend, for the Holiday. - See more at: http://birding.aba.org/message.php?mesid=705422&MLID=ON&MLNM=Ontario#sthash.HtHBl0ux.dpufAshbridge's Bay Park is at the foot of Coxwell Avenue, sticking out into the lake. Access also from Lakeshore Boulevard. There is pay parking in the summer, though I get around by public transit so can't speak to the fares. To reach this particular section of the park, walk south from the parking lot, winding south and to the west around the marina. Doug Clark Ashbridge's Bay is at the foot of Coxwell Avenue.
