While there did not appear to be much new migration overnight there were still
25 species of warbler being observed in Point Pelee today. The highlight would
probably be a rare for this time of year PRAIRIE WARBLER being seen in the Tip
area of the park. The non-warbler highlight is a BELL'S VIREO originally seen
at the south-west corner of the Sparrow Field, but now being seen slightly
south in the Loop Woods Trail.

Of the other warbler species a HOODED is being seen on the east side of the
Woodland Trail and a MOURNING along the seasonal trail in the Loop Woods Trail.

A male and two female SCARLET TANAGER are showing well on the east side of the
Tip if you walk down on the beach from the 42nd Parallel sign.
