This week Hamilton Birders and the Hamilton Naturalists Club lost a dear friend, Thomas A. Crooks (aka Crooksie/TAC). Tom was a dedicated member of the Hamilton Naturalists Club and a board member of the Hamilton Naturalists Club Bird Studies Group. He was always welcoming of new members to the club, encouraged people to get involved, participated in hikes and club events and camped at Pelee with our group for many years. He was a true gentleman and a kind spirit. I am posting to the wider group as some of you may have seen him or have known him who are not from the area and are not on our local list serve.
