I had a female Dickcissel on my way home from work today at 4:50pm on 8th line
of Amaranth between side Rds 15 and 20. The bird flew off to the other side of
the rd just as I was focusing with my camera. I tried for 10 minutes to
relocate but had no luck.
On a side note also had a Red-headed Woodpecker around noon at a coworkers
house on 10th line of Amaranth. The bird was coming to his suet feeder.

Not sure of the reliability of the Dickcissel staying in the same spot.
But here are Directions:
>From Authur take highway 109 (9) east approximately 23km take 8th line north,
>second left after 25(trafalgar). Bird was seen between 15 and 20 side Rds on
>eighth line. About 150 m after the last house on the right when traveling
>north. Near a small bridge for a drainage ditch. Birds flew from the west side
>of the rd to the east towards open field or low thick scrub bush just north of
>the drainage ditch.

Good birding!
