Thanks to Reuven for finding the gulls.. All three gulls are still a tthe mouth
of the Credit River in Mississauga.
1-adult Laughing Gull sits on the boat ramps east of the Credit river mouth,
north of marooned boat, at times it flies over the river usually toward the
north west. And feeds below the apartment building on west side of river.
2- Lesser Black backed , feeds in the middle of the river and
3- Glaucous Gull feeds with Herring and Ring-billed by the apartment on west
side of river
Many, many Bonaparte Gulls and huge number of Common Tern .... Colony on East
side!
All are feeding on tremendous schools of fish moving up river.
Alewives...Black-eyed Dace, smelts etc etc..
Caution, the marina on the east side has hired folks to light Na shoot
fireworks in the sky to prevent birds from nesting on their roof , is it
legal????... When they fire their stuff all the birds rise and flee to the lake
and in the sky! But, usually they come back.
Good luck and thanks Reuven Directions below from Reuven
