This afternoon Mark Cranford and I saw at least two singing Sedge Wrens in the
north end of Bronte Creek Provincial Park.

Directions: Exit the QEW at Appleby Line in Burlington and go north to Dundas
St. (Regional Rd. 5). Turn right and proceed east. The park is on the south
side. The access is unmarked and just before the lights at Tremaine Rd. There
is a track into the park but no official parking so I park as far off the road
on the shoulder as I can. Follow this track; it makes a left turn then a right.
Eventually (before the pipeline if you know where it is) there is a field of
dry grass on the left. The birds were there and singing this afternoon. There
were also lots of Bobolinks.

I have added a photo to my Photostream of a Sedge Wren from the location; it
will be more helpful in recognizing the habitat than the bird!
