At around 10:30 am a juvenile Bald Eagle was seen on a tree on the north side 
if the spit. Attacked by blackbirds and gulls, the eagle took flight and 
circled above us for about 5 minutes before heading west towards the tip of the 
spit. 

Tommy Thompson Park is at the bottom of Leslie Street in east Toronto.
