Hi Birders, Hans VanderZweep and I saw several shoebirds in the Williamsburg
Lagoons yesterday. We observed 3 short-billed dowagers, 6 greater yellowlegs,
12 semi-palmated sandpipers,10 spotted sandpipers and a half dozen killdeer.
The cell closest to the road is very low in water and makes for good shorebird
observation. To get to the lagoons, go east from highway 31 on Liscumb about 3
1/2 kilometers. The lagoons will be on your right about 1 km. after you pass
Ottawa St. Good birding. Bob
