Subject: [GeneseeBirds-L] NE shore Lake Erie 12 Shorebird sp., 10 Warbler 
sp.&Long-tailed Duck.

August 27-At Rock Point Provincial Park there were 11 species of shorebirds 
including 2 White-rumped Sandpipers, 2 Baird's Sandpipers, and 5 Sanderlings. 
Also Bay-breasted Warbler, adult Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, 5 Mute Swans, 
LONG-TAILED DUCK, 2,600 Double-crested Cormorants, 700 Common Terns, (Mohawk 
Island) Red-breasted Merganser, and Blackburnian Warbler.

Two miles NW of Rock Point at Mosaic Ponds 5 Great Egrets (one with bright BLUE 
WING TAGS) a Pectoral Sandpiper and at Innophos ponds 13 Great Egrets.

Of Highway 3 north on Erie Peat Road, at its end a walk into Wainfleet Bog 
resulted in eight warbler species including:  Blackpoll Warbler, Wilson's 
Warbler, Black-and -white Warbler, and also juvenile Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, 
and Eastern Towhee.
