Visitors:
A young couple with twins and another local lady who was searching for the
snowy egrets visited. They were all quite excited to see some kestrels and
sharp-shins fly past.


Weather:
A calm day with South component winds at typically less than 6km/h. There
were very few clouds with the temperature climbing from 22C to 30C.

Raptor Observations:
Northern harrier, Sharp-shinned hawk, American Kestrel and Merlin migrating
through brought today's total to 29 birds. All 6 of our resident Bald
Eagles were out today and putting on a show, clasping talons.  

Non-raptor Observations:
A fairly slow day for passerines. 108 Cedar Waxwings, 37 American
Goldfinches, 2 R-Throated Hummingbirds, and the first Purple Martin of the
year moved through. 

5 Monarchs were seen.

Predictions:
A clear day with winds continuing from the SW until the evening when they
will switch to the N.
