Weather:
Couldn't ask for better weather out there today. It was sunny and clear
from start to finish. Light and shifting to start, the wind moved
progressively eastward as the day wore on.

Raptor Observations:
Our most active outing of this young season, there was plenty of variety
and abundance to keep us occupied from the late morning on. American
Kestrel, Broad-winged Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Cooper's Hawk and
Sharp-shinned Hawk really asserted themselves for the first time, and Bald
Eagle and Northern Harrier continued their strong early showings.

Non-raptor Observations:
Common Loon (4), Sandhill Crane (2), Bobolink (3), Cape May Warbler (2),
Spotted Sandpiper (2), Blue-winged Teal (2), Pied-billed Grebe (1),
American Goldfinch (16), Red-winged Blackbird (125+), Chimney Swift (1),
Mink (1), Northern Watersnake (1), Monarch (60+), Great Black Wasp feasting
on Katydid (1)

Predictions:
A lot like today, it's going to be sunny and clear with light east wind.
