Hi all:
Just before attending the funeral service for our birding mentor friend, Don
Perks, Dan Salisbury and I ( Luc Fazio) had a Least Bittern at the Kipling Spit
in the Etobicoke. See my Video on You Tube below. Someone alerted us to the
LEBI and I refound it.

Other birds seen: Yellow-Crowned and Black-crowned Night Herons, Green Heron,
Merlin attacking a Sharp-shinned Hawk and many many Red-necked Grebes

Luc Fazio

Directions:
QEW to Kipling, go south to the lake, to last parking lot closest to the lake,
walk south to lake and turn right toward Boats in Marine at a gravelled path
'till you come to an impounded small "lake" no more than 10 feet wide on north
side of finger like spit, just past Whimbrel point on the right. Bird was
feeding at the edges of cattails and willows saplings,...see Video above.
