Total- 116 Observation time: 6 hours Official Counter: Rayfield Pye Observers: B McWalters, E Cole, C Van Goch, J Ball, and J Boxall Weather: Light winds out of the north-west in the morning, switching to south around 10 AM. (that was when the flight moved inland) Other birds: Great Egret- 13 (no wing tags), Ruby-throated Hummingbird- 12, Sora-1, American Bittern-1, Common Loon-10, Monarch migration: 43 the 1st hour and no count after that. Directions: Exit from the 401 at Brock St. in Whitby. Go south on Brock St. to Victoria St. Go west on Victoria St. to Halls Road.
