At the new storm water pond at Countryside Dr and Dixie Rd the following shore birds were observed this afternoon
Black-bellied Plover, single juvenile - good photos Greater Yellowlegs Lesser Yellowlegs Spotted Sandpiper Solitary Sandpiper Pectoral Sandpiper Great Egret Horned Lark This is a very active pond in a new construction area, it has mud sides all around with no grass yet. Good viewing is available from a couple of sides with a scope or binoculars. Good photos of all species today.
