Observation start time: 06:30:00
Observation end time: 16:30:00
Total observation time: 10 hours

Official Counter: Jenna McDermott

Observers: Claude Radley, Donny Moore, Jim McCoy

Visitors:
Malcolm and Helen from Chatham visited today, along with a couple from
Stratford and 11 other local folks, many of them taking advantage of the
kids' day off school.

Weather:
The first couple of hours were very foggy, with 200m visibility. After the
fog burned off, there was partial cloud cover and S component winds for
most of the rest of the day.

Raptor Observations:
Only one Kestrel was seen going to the E during the foggy portion of the
morning. Birds were being pushed to the N end of the marsh due to the
Southerly component winds. We had some mixed kettles of Broad-winged Hawks
and Turkey Vultures and the 19 Northern Harriers were very nice to see. 547
birds of 10 species was the total.

Non-raptor Observations:
The non-raptors had a slow day due to the fog as well. 2700 Blue Jays, 47
American Goldfinches, 2 Blackburnian and 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers were seen
today. There were many Monarchs (51) and dragonflies in the afternoon! See
today's eBird list

Predictions:
Winds at 10-15km/h from the NE, changing to E in the late morning.
