Observation start time: 06:45:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8.25 hours

Official Counter: Jenna McDermott

Observers: Jim McCoy, John Craft, Larry Ludwicki, Todd Pepper

Visitors:
Sandra from Milton spent the day up on the tower, along with Greg, one of
our regular visitors.

Weather:
Overcast all day today and threatening rain with a chilly wind coming from
the N for the morning. The wind eventually switched to the SW.

Raptor Observations:
Despite the low clouds and moderate temperature, a few hundred Turkey
Vultures managed to find thermals and kettle through right over the tower.
Sharp-shinned Hawks were the second most abundant with 271. 9 species
today.

Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors weren't very abundant today. "Only" 4730 Blue Jays; I guess
they were leaving more airspace for the raptors! 69 Goldfinches, 43 Cedar
Waxwings and 37 warblers of various species were seen. 1 Monarch. See
today's eBird list

Predictions:
Winds from the N and E with partial cloud all day. Temperatures should rise
to 21C.
