Birders This bird was originally found by me at 9.50 am on the ridge at Britannia I had a short view enough to confirm the species and believed I could see only black eye colour. While going to get my camera I advised two nearby photographers of the bird and asked if they could get photos. On returning they had taken several good photos which clearly showed a white iris indicating that this is an adult bird. I refound the bird about an hour later however only one of the birders present was able to see it. This bird is probably still in the area although it is now raining. Britannia is along the Ottawa River in the west end of Ottawa. The ridge is on Cassels Rd Good luck Michael Tate 1-613-863-8455 [email protected]
