Weather:
Partly cloudy at the start, rapid clearing left us with sunny and clear
skies for much of the day. Out of the east or southeast throughout, the
wind was mostly moderate with occasional strong gusts.

Raptor Observations:
Turkey Vultures keep on coming. The morning featured a 30 minute span when
no less than six sizable vulture kettles were within view. Riding the stiff
easterly wind, they soon formed into a single lengthy stream stretching
from Celeron Island to the stacks and wobbled their way out of the viewing
area. Not quite as spectacle-rich, the afternoon still managed to bring us
a smattering of small groups streaming out high overhead. Red-tailed and
Broad-winged Hawks continue to embed with the vulture streams and were
joined by a handful of Sharp-shinned Hawks and Northern Harriers.

Non-raptor Observations:
Common Loon (1), Blue Jay (800+), Red-winged Blackbird (250+),
Golden-crowned Kinglet (4), Yellow-rumped Warbler (2)

Predictions:
Mostly cloudy with warmer temps, light south wind and a 50 percent chance
of light rain.
