About 20 minutes ago Barb Charlton, Kevin McLaughlin and I observed a basic plumage adult Eared Grebe at Wheatley Harbour. The bird was associating with 19 Horned Grebes. It offered great views allowing us to photograph is at point blank range. Directions to Wheatley Harbour: from the town of Wheatley head south on Kent rd. 1 for 3km and your there.
