Apologies for the late report but I inadvertently sent this yesterday from one
of my other email addresses and the server rejected it.

At approximately 11:15 yesterday morning I saw a raptor flying low over a large
plowed field along the north side of Baker Road (between Rae and Ball Roads).
The bird landed briefly and I was able to identify it through my binoculars as
a Peregrine Falcon.

I also spent several hours earlier photographing two flocks of Snow Geese
between Baker and River Roads. The smaller flock had approximately 1000
individuals and the larger had at least 2500-3500 plus but I could not see the
whole flock at once.

Baker Road and River Road several kilometers southeast of Winchester and are
south of but run parallel to highway 43.

Good birding,

Stephen
