Apologies for the late report but I inadvertently sent this yesterday from one of my other email addresses and the server rejected it.
At approximately 11:15 yesterday morning I saw a raptor flying low over a large plowed field along the north side of Baker Road (between Rae and Ball Roads). The bird landed briefly and I was able to identify it through my binoculars as a Peregrine Falcon. I also spent several hours earlier photographing two flocks of Snow Geese between Baker and River Roads. The smaller flock had approximately 1000 individuals and the larger had at least 2500-3500 plus but I could not see the whole flock at once. Link to a photo of some of the Snow Geese https://www.flickr.com/photos/38402205@N06/15774475915/ Baker Road and River Road several kilometers southeast of Winchester and are south of but run parallel to highway 43.
