Reporting for Lynn Pady and Margaret Liubavicius.
Yesterday they saw and photographed seven (7) Caspian Terns at Tommy
Thompson Park on the Leslie Street Spit. The birds were hunkered down on
rip-rap and reed grass near embayment D.
Directions: Leslie St. Spit is at the base of Leslie St., only open on
weekends. Note that recent road construction means you may have to
access the area via Carlaw (off Lakeshore) then Commissioners.
