If you are traveling in or out of Quebec via the 401, be sure to watch
the fields before and after Lancaster, in the 5-15 km west of and
approaching or leaving Quebec. On the way home from a conference, we saw
many hundreds of Snow Geese in the fields and flocks flying over the
highway yesterday (Sunday) afternoon and on Friday as well. My first
Ontario Snow Geese this year and there seemed to be even more there
yesterday than Friday afternoon.
There were even more along highway 10 in Quebec in the range of about 30
km east of Montreal in case that interests someone for their Quebec list.
