Hello Ontbirders,

To follow up on Dave Szmyr's report from 2 days ago, I was able to check in
on the Ross's Goose & Snow Geese at the pond on Summerlyn Trail in
Bradford. The bird was there this morning at 8:30am in the middle of the
pond on a small spit. Although the trail & lookout (on Downy Emerald
Drive) are some distance from where the birds were on the pond, they were
still a bit skittish because as I walked up to set-up my scope many of the
birds rose up and started swimming to the far side of the pond. I did get
some digiscoped shots of both the lone adult Ross's Goose as well as the
pair of white morph Snow Geese.

Directions, as per Dave:
Exit the 400 at Cty Rd 88 and head east until you reach Summerlyn Trail
(~2km from Hwy 400), turn left here. The Pond is on the east side of this
road and is bordered to the North by Downy Emerald Dr. - easiest to park on
Downy Emerald and view the birds from the lookout here.

Good birding,
