The Ross’s Geese were seen about 10 this a.m. circling over the ponds but
didn’t land as someone was down by the shore. They then flew off to the east.
The 2 Blue and 2 white morph Snow Geese were evident.

At Ravenshoe Rd in York Region, Terrie Smith and I saw 6 Snowy Owls, a Northern
Harrier, a Northern Shrike, about 100 Common Redpolls and on striking male
Hoary Redpoll.

Reesor Pond lies just north of Hwy 407 on Reesor Road in Markham. Ravenshoe
runs east-west and we saw our birds at the extreme west end of the road where
it deadends.
