On the Peel CBC this morning, we found a Grey Catbird about 11 AM. Bird was singing actively in a small tree on the north west corner of Lakeshore Road and Avonhead Road in Mississauga. The bird offered good views in the sun before flying across Lakeshore to some trees on the south side.
Avonhead Road runs from Royal Windsor Drive to Lakeshore Road about half way between Winston Churchill Blvd and Southdown Road. Note there is a pair of Peregrine Falcons normally found on the cement plant silos or buildings immediately north of this spot on the west side of Avonhead Road.
