Sorry for the late posting, but I am still getting results in from some of
the 35 parties on our Count.

 

One of the reports that came in today and from whom I did not even hear of
this bird on Count day, included a Killdeer.

 

It was located in Greenway Park along the Thames River, west of Wharncliffe
Road on Horton Street/Springbank Drive.

It was found along the river shore, near the large Rail bridge which crosses
the river.

 

If it is re-found, hopefully people will give us more directions to this
interesting wintering bird.
