The Snowy Owl was on the docks in Sam Smith Park this afternoon, perched on a post.
Also saw a pair of Hooded Mergansers in the pond by the observation deck (currently under construction); best seen from the east side of the pond; observed today & yesterday. Yesterday a group of Trumpeter swans (tagged) was observed on the east side of the park. Sam Smith Park is at the foot of Kipling Ave in south Etobicoke.
