Male Barrow's Goldeneye is being seen on the St. Clair River North of
Sombra. It is associating with a flock of approx. 20 Common Goldeneye.
Was still there at 13:30 hrs upon departing. Best area to view bird would
be Cathcart Park there is currently construction going on the South side of
park the North side might offer best viewing, scope recommended, river is
currently full of ice with a few open areas where ducks are congregating.
Also area between Bickford Line and Stanley Line along St. Clair Parkway
33 offers a vantage point. The bird was sighted North of this area
where there is houses. But with shifting ice may end up further up river
where viewing would be easier.

Cheers,

Josh Bouman

Directions:
>From London area take HWY 402 West exit HWY 40 South to Bickford Line West
to St. Clair Parkway road 33. Cathcart Park is South of Bickford Line less
than 5km.
