  week for reports.

February 28, a SNOWY OWL at the Genesee County airport
outside Batavia. Flocks of SNOW BUNTINGS and HORNED LARKS
  continue in the same county.

At the Iroquois Refuge, a pair of BALD EAGLES on the nest at
Cayuga Pool, on Route 77. Also a NORTHERN SHRIKE between
Cayuga Pool and Kumpf Marsh, one of very few if any reported
  this winter.

March 2 and 3 in Ontario, a rare plumage variant PINE SISKIN
at a feeder in Fonthill; a green-morph SISKIN among a flock
of 20 to 27 PINE SISKINS.

From Chautauqua County, a larger than usual flock of 18
WHITE-CR. SPARROWS lingering in the vineyards on South
Roberts Road east of Route 20, near Dunkirk.

Abundant waterfowl still covering the upper Niagara River
from the ice boom to Grand Island, including high numbers of
  LONG-TAILED DUCKS.

The next BOS meeting, on Wednesday, March 11, will feature a
favorite presenter - Jean Iron of Toronto. Jean will discuss
and display photographs on "James Bay Shorebird Research
