Seen by a few around 9 with good views actively swimming, feeding.  Went back 
1/2 hour later to help another birder find it and it was back among dead trees, 
took awhile to re-find with its head tucked in for a nap.  Patience might be 
required :-)  Looking out from the observation platform it was seen between 12 
and 2 using a clock reference.  There is industrial equipment on the north end 
of the lake, left of that is a large patch of reeds and the duck was seen left 
of those reeds.

At 1:15 just seen - scope necessary - great views!  Bannister lake is just 
outside the HSA but much closer than the drive to Big Creek and better views. 
Located on Wrigley road just west of Spragues Rd (Hwy 24A).park in the parking 
area - take the trail along the lake to the observation tower - bird was 
directly across in the weedy area on the far side with American Wigeons.  Will
