Hello Everyone

It's a beautiful day here at Point Pelee and we're starting to see
migrants trickling in. In addition to the Henslow's Sparrow reported
earlier today, Pine Warbler and Louisiana Waterthrush have both been
reported from the Woodland Nature Trail. There are still large rafts of
ducks off the Tip, with some Horned Grebes in the mix.

Parts of the West Beach Footpath between the Visitor Centre remained
closed, due to severe erosion that happened in the summer/fall. We are in
the process of rerouting this trail safely around the affected area and it
should be complete by the end of next week. For the weekend, we would ask
that you only use the part of the trail between the West Beach parking lot
and the Half-way Point or trail north from the Tip to the cross trail to
Sparrow Field. This happily includes the famous "serengeti tree" (honey
locust) where the Henslow's Sparrow was sighted this afternoon.

It's finally feeling like spring!

Good Birding
Sarah
