This afternoon there was an adult male Eurasian Wigeon off the Long Sault Parkway in eastern Ontario. The bird was seen to the north of the westernmost island (McLaren Island), feeding with a large group of ducks, mostly Ring-necked, plus a handful of American Wigeon, GW Teel and Redhead.
Long Sault Parkway is on the St. Lawrence River, just west of Cornwall off Highway 2 , between the villages of Long Sault and Ingleside.
