At about 10am, the Eared Grebe was actively feeding on midges on the water
surface off the foot of Thickson Rd in Whitby. Also heard Sandhills
calling to east of Thickson's Woods.

Later went to Lakeridge Health Services - Oshawa to check out resident
Peregrines. Saw one of the pair resting on ledge at sw corner of main
building.

Thickson's. .... Exit 401 at Thickson's Rd, Whitby and go south to Lake
Ontario.

Lakeridge Health-Oshawa..... Exit 401 at Simcoe Street exit and go north on
Simcoe beyond Adelaide. Hospital is on left north of "Parkwood". The
Peregrine was seen from Golf Street at west end of hospital. Parking is
problematic in area without paying high rates at hospital or spending time
finding street parking in area and walking to hospital.

Good birding, Bruce
