At 12 pm today a Prairie warbler was singing and showing well in a pine tree
at Thickson's Woods in Whitby. The bird was seen and heard by many of us on the
private road which borders the western boundary of the woodlot.

Take Thickson Road south from the 401 to the end of the road where it dead
ends, park and walk through the entrance. Enter the Woods through the posted
sign on the right. Follow the main path down a small gully and keep to the
right until you reach the road, then go right @ 30-40 meters.
