It is quite an active day here in the Park with 28 warbler species reported so
far. The Tip started slow with a smattering of species flying off, but as it
warmed up more birds were found in the woods there and elsewhere.

At the Tip a Fish Crow was reported. Also noted was a Yellow-breasted Chat,
which was on the West Side near the large Honey Locust, AKA the "Serengeti
tree". As well, Canada, Mourning, Blue-winged Warblers and a Summer Tanager
were noted. Philadelphia Vireo was found there and in several other spots in
the Park. Also, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo was found.

Woodland Nature Trail reports include a Mourning Warbler near Post 1, and a
male Prothonotary Warbler was seen between Bridges A and B.

Tilden Woods was also hopping with a number of sought-after species. These
included a Worm-eating Warbler spotted near where the Chinquapin Trail starts
off the Tilden Trail, east of the boardwalk. Also noted near there were
Gray-cheeked Thrush and Blue-winged Warbler. The rufous morph Screech Owl which
was first spotted yesterday is showing again in Tilden Woods. A number of other
warblers, including Blackpoll, Canada, Mourning and Bay-breasted, were also
found in Tilden

A female Prothonotary was briefly seen at the first wet spot on Shuster Trail.
Also there, Northern Waterthrush and Canada Warbler and a Yellow-throated Vireo.
