Hi there,

Today (14 May) I birded Canoe Lake Road in Frontenac County, starting from
Canoe Lake/Westport and driving 9 km along Canoe Lake. I stopped every
350-400 m and listened for 5 min from the side of the road. Nice mix of
landbirds, with quite a density of cuckoos! I tallied 4 Yellow-billed
(visually confirmed) and 7 additional Yellow-billed/Black-billed (calls; no
visual) along a 3.6 km stretch of Canoe Lake Rd.

Specifics here: http://ebird.org/ebird/canada/view/checklist?subID=S23445984

Directions: Canoe Lake Road is roughly 12 km WSW of Westport. From
Westport, take Leeds & Grenville Country Rd. 12 (Salem Rd.) of which
becomes Westport Rd. W of the town of Salem. From Westport Rd., head S on
to Canoe Lake Rd. (approximate starting address for GPS or Google Maps:
10873 Canoe Lake Rd.).

Good birding,
Jon
