Hello Ontbirders,

My brother and I just had the Mississippi Kite circling over the north side of
Hillman Marsh CA (looked like it was over Mersea Rd 2 which runs across the
north end of the conservation area), we had good views of its long, thin grey
body and wings with darker primary feathers. This is not a full adult as it
wasn't showing white secondaries, but did show all grey body and head (2nd year
bird I believe).

Hillman shorebird cell has 2 Willet, 1 American Avocet and at least 1
White-rumped Sandpiper, we also had a Peregrine Falcon earlier (4:30pm).

Good birding,
Frank & Rob Pinilla

Directions:
Hillman Marsh is found at the intersection of Mersea Rd 2 & 19, NE of Point
Pelee NP.
