16.05.15 - West shore of Reesor Pond -a BLUR of shorebirds - [I'm waiting
cataract surgery] - under close scrutiny resolved into several Semi-palmated
Sandpipers and Plovers - Lesser and Greater Yellowlegs - Spotted Sandpipers -
Killdeer and a pair of Dowitchers - juvenile and adult : adult breast, neck and
face suffused with red - no barring - but I'd have to play calls to positively
identify them - also 6 unmarked Trumpeter Swans - 1 Great Blue Heron and an
Eastern Kingbird - also 4 Turkey Vultures - Reesor Pond lies just north of Hwy
407 on Markham Road in Markham - cheers - Stan Long
