There are 3 Piping Plovers on Hanlan's Beach on the Toronto Islands. 2 males
and a female. They're towards the north end of the beach and 1 male is acting
territorial.

Take the Hanlan's point ferry from the ferry terminal at the foot of Bay St
(Bay and Queens Quay) in Toronto. The ferry runs every half hour. Walk west
from the ferry terminal to the beach, the birds are towards the north end of
the beach.
