A white winged dove was seen on Monday, heard on Tuesday then disappeared until this afternoon. It is being seen along Lakeshore Rd north of the visitor centre. It is covering a stretch of about 20 cottages. Park at the visitor centre and walk along Lakeshore listening for the bird. There are some shore birds on the beach across from the visitor centre.
Good birding. Ric Take exit 101 off the 401 and follow the signs to Rondeau Provincial Park. As of today Rondeau Rd, through the forest is open and Bennett is still closed.
